Sharepoint subwebs remain after Project server file is deleted.

When a project is removed using the Admin, Clean up Microsoft Project
Server database the subwebs remain on Sharepoint. Over time many
subwebs are created and I have found this will lock a user out of
Project 2002. Is there somewhere in the configuration that needs to
be set to remove the subwebs from Sharepoint or is this step
independent from Project 2002 Server?

There's a checkbox on the Clean up page for deleting the site along with the
plan.
