SharePoint Templates - option to select in lieu of default

I know that it is possible to create WSS templates that can be designed with
library structures and populated with Pro-Forma documents and to then have
Project Server use one of these customised templates in-lieu of the default
Project template.

Is it possible to configure Project Server so that more than one WSS
Template can be used and to have an option as to which one is used when
creating a new project?

I have been asked this by an organisation that is considering Project
Server. They employ different Project Methodologies such as PRINCE2 or
6SIGMA and would like to have WSS sites that comply with these methods
created from a WSS template at project inception.
