I have Project Server 2003. I have a large number of users in Project set as
"Team Lead" that actually need to add documents to schedules that they have
no assignments on. I have Project 2003 set up to automatically add
Sharepoint sites as schedules are published. The issue is that I have to go
into the specific sites and change the permissions of these users in
Sharepoint to "Contributor" because they go in as "Reader".
Since these Project "Team Lead" users do not have assignments in the
schedule, they don't get the rights automatically to add documents to the
site.
1. Is there a way to change this when/before the site is created?
2. Is there a way to mass-modify a user's permissions on all sites at once
in Sharepoint (knowing when a new site is created and changing permissions is
hit and miss and time consuming for the users to contact me)?
Thank you for your help.
