I'd like to create a data-driven web site with Frontpage 2003. In Frontpage
Help, it says that I need a hosting web server with Sharepoint services for
that.If the site is not going out on the internet and just staying on my
computer does anyone know how I can do this.

For Sharepoint services you need a server running on Windows 2003.
For a simple data-driven site, you need a server running either
Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003, or some Linux distro. If you are
running Windows XP Pro, that with IIS installed, can be used for
testing , but not for serving pages on an Intranet with more than one
user.
For Windows, use Access for the database (if small database) and .asp
or asp.net pages to get the data.
Use the Database Results and Database Interface Wizards to start
with - then learn how to code your own pages.
On Linux, learn PHP and use mySQL for the database. There will be
very little (none) assistance from FrontPage for this.
