Sharing a Database

Thank you. I followed your instructions, however my
settings were already set to those options. I am now
investigating the option of splitting the database. I have
never done it. Is it really necessary to do so in order to
give multiple users access to update the same form?

It isn't absolutely essential, but it will save you 1,000 headaches down
the road. When you split the database put the backend on the server and a
copy of the frontend on each user's computer.
