Sharing a database

I created a database on a network drive that would allow three users to gain
access. However, only one user is able to get in the database at a time. If
the database is occupied and another user tries to get in--they'll receive an
message that says "Could not lock file." Not sure what I did when I set this
thing up, but I could use a viable solution or suggestion

Check your settings in Tools > Options > Advanced, and look at your settings
for Default Open Mode and Default Record Locking. That is where your problem
is, most likely, originating.

The more common issue is the inability of the first user in to create the
LDB file. All users must have create and delete permissions on the folder
containing the MDB file.

Very true, Duane. I entirely skipped the first sentence, where he/she
states this file is on a network drive. =)
