Sharing a Gantt with external partner

Hello,

I have one timeline that deals with two projects, that are highly
interdependent on each other and share big portions of the same tasks.

One of the project, however, is a collaboration. I only want to maintain one
timeline - what's the best way to share the timeline. I know that I can
create a view with only their tasks, but what's to keep them from changing
views? Is there a way to lock it? They would like to see the Gantt, and not a
pdf.

We are using MSP 2003, standard.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Shahera

PDF is the safest way to do it. Remember, that file access in Project is a
0/100 choice.... there is no way to hide information, all you can do is not
show it. That does mean that any user can access it.

Depending on the level of "query" the other party wants, you may want to
import a filtered version of the file into a Project1.mpp file and then send
them that. We use www.kidasa.com (Milestones Professional 2008) for
situations like this. However, it does require them to buy that application
or download a viewer.
