Sharing a notebook over the internet

My mom and I are on different coasts and would like to share a single
notebook. Is there a way to store it in a network location capable of
handling a OneNote notebook that is free? I'm using Vista and I tried the
"msn communities" option that you get when you add a network location, but it
seems that the free storage is either too small or won't handle a OneNote
file. Thanks!

Xa,

I use Live Mesh which is a free Microsoft project, only recently available.
It's currently pre-beta, so backup!

Thanks! I like the Live Mesh ... so much easier!

Did any of you try and use it with a onenote notebook yet? I will give
it at try...

Yes, I installed it and it works great! (Although I guess you don't need to
actually install a program locally to use it.) I initially tried using a
Share Point Library on freesharepoint2007.com but that was a total nightmare
- the site is completely unreliable, and I would only have intermittent
access to the notebook. It also doesn't recognize OneNote as a "client."
Also, with the Live Mesh installed on my computer, I don't need to keep
submitting my user name and password to sync the notebook. It's a perfect
solution for shared notebook or even to syn a notebook across computers... I
also tried using Live Workspace, but discovered that it can't handle OneNote
files.

Others have mentioned Mesh which I have used and works well.

Another option (also free) is Microsoft Live Foldershare. Works in the same
way but it is not as feature rich and for now is a bit more mature as a
product (although still in beta)

I tried creating a shared notebook in a shared Live Mesh folder and it didn't
handle concurrent editing very well. The synchronization in OneNote is
supposed to automatically merge simultaneous changes, but because of the
synchronization of Live Mesh, Live Mesh made me manually resolve the sharing
conflict before OneNote could even get a chance. I'm sure Live Mesh would
work well with sharing a non "shared notebook" however.

Any tips from people who might have had better luck with using shared
OneNote notebooks using Live Mesh, especially to support concurrent editing?

I have been using Groove 2007 for this exact feature except that now I have
many duplicate pages, is there a way to "remove duplicate pages" from my one
note notebooks, or even just to identify them?

I'd suggest that you open a new thread and ask there.
Your question might be overlooked deep down here.
