Sharing access

Hope anyone can help...we have 4 computers. We want to share our acces
database so that anyone can amend data from the same database. Ca
anyone please, tell me how we can do that, what we need....thanx a lo
in adavanc

PtityOp,

The easiest option (provided it is available to you) is to place th
access database on a shared network drive. Then you can actually set u
roles and permissions for the database within the mdb itsel
(tools>Security>users groups and permission) if each of you are to hav
different levels of access to it.

Be warned though that access is not the best for multi-use
environments and can crash at the thought of it!!

for some advice on creating multi-user access environments, but othe
than that search the net for access and multi user environmen
capabilities and you should find the limitations of access in thi
issue in abundance.
