Hi,

we have several WindowsXP machines at the office. Some use Outlook 2003 with
BCM in German, some with English and some with English and German MUI.

I have started working with BCM on a German machine and want to share ma
Database to all other users.

However all the time I try to connect from an English Outlook to my German
database I get the message that the language I'm using is different to the
language the db is installed with and a connection is not possible. If I look
at the database itself all the names are in English so where is the problem
and how can I fix it?

This is a common issue with applications and not specific to BCM.

Consider the decimal and thousands separator, or dates across different
cultures. A price of $1.000 can be different by $999, or a date 12/1/06
off by 11 months, between two different cultures. These types of issues
are solvable in software, but it takes a lot of resources to get them
right.
