Sharing between 2007 and 2003

Most of my company is on 2003 but a few of us have upgraded to 2007. I am
unable to see calendar entries on one shared calendar and unable to access
either of my manager calendars even though I requested permission - they were
unable to grant it. Please help - we are not ready to upgrade the whole
company
