Sharing Calanders in Outlook 2003

We wanted to share Calanders in Outlook 2000 but we were informed that we
needed Exchange Server with our Windows Server 2000.

We were informed that if we had Outlook 2003, we could share calanders
without Exchange Server. But when I did a help on sharing calanders in
Outlook 2003, help also states that you need Exchange Server.

How do we share calanders if both people have Outlook 2003 and we are on a
network?
