sharing calendar between Office 2000 and XP

Hi,
I am trying to share my calendar between my Laptop (Win
98 2nd Edit / Outlook 2000 SR-1) with my Desktop running
XP Professional with Office Standard via email.
I cannot get XP to accept. The error message tells me to
check if I have administrator rights and permission to do
this - I am the administrator!
What do I do to fix this issue?
thanks Peter.

How are you trying to share your calendar? Are you trying to use Net
Folders in Outlook 2000 to share the calendar? If so then the reason you
cannot share it with Outlook 2002 (XP) is that Outlook 2002 does not
support Net Folders. The only way would be to share a calendar that is in
your mailbox on an Exchange network or to find some third party software
that can do this. I hope this helps.

You can not user Outlook XP to share calendar without Exchange server.
If you do not want to use Exchange server and do want to share your
calendar in your network, you can try other softwares, you can visit
http://www.winpim.com to have a look. It's an all-in-one pim software
with easy multi-users system and with an included network solution.
Easy and low cost solution! Enjoy!
