Sharing Calendar with non-Exchange user

David Kirk

Hi,

We have 2 networks (2 separate companies). One has
Exchange 2000 and the other doesn't.

Both companies have the same CFO. He is on the network
that doesn't have Exchange.

He is using Outlook 2002 and wants to share his calendar
with his PA who is on the network with Exchange. He also
wants the PA to be able to schedule appointments on his
behalf and have them show up in his calendar.

Can this be done? If so can you point me to some doco?

Since nothing is built into Outlook 2002 for peer-to-peer sharing, except for Internet free/busy times, you'd need to either hook him up with an Exchange mailbox or see http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm#other for available third-party methods.
