Sharing Calendars between Exchange organizations

I am trying to get a view of recommended tools and
methods for sharing calendar free/busy and meeting
requests between Exchange organisations. Most of the
existing organisations involved are Exchange 5.5, but
there will be Exchange 2003 put in too. Trusts can not
be guarenteed between the organisations.
