Sharing contact list... doesn't work?

Hi,
I'm using Outlook 2000 in the enterprise I work for. I'm in charge of
the e-mails system and I would like to share my contact list so everyone in
the enterprise can have an up to date like all the time.

I went through the wizard for sharing my contacts and send the email to
everyone and they accepted, but yet, nobody received my contacts and they
accepted thursday and we are monday.

Is there something wrong? Must it be on an exchange server or it could all
go through internet e-mails? Has anyone encontered this problem before?
