Sharing contacts and exporting them remotely

(This is a duplicate of an earlier posting, which I could not locate, for
some reason, so apologies if you saw this already.)

I was wondering if this scenario is possible? We have Outlook 2003 and
Microsoft Exchange server.

Each employee sets up a new Contact folder in their Outlook and makes it
sharable with Reviewer permissions. They put selected Contacts in the new
folder. At end of each week, the database administrator looks for these
Contact folders and exports the contacts. She then preps the contact
information for importing into a master non-Microsoft contact database. Is
this feasible?

Is the Reviewer permission enough for the administrator to export the data
directly from the employee’s desk, without leaving her own desk? Or another
type of permission is required?

Thank you.

Depends on what you mean by export. All she'll be able to do out-of-the-box is copy the contacts to a mailbox folder, public folder, or .pst file.
