What I need to have is possibility to share my word documents with others.
Share workspace seems great. I have document library on MOSS 2007 and
several documents within.
Is it possible that several people can work on document at the same time.
The problem I'm facing is that if I open a document from sharepoint document
library I can edit it and save it. At the same time (while I'm working on my
document) if my colleague opens the same document in title bar of his Word
2003 there is a comment Read only.
If I save the document and tell him to get updates (button in task pane) he
gets nothing.
If he tries to save the document he can't because it's read only.
That really isn't what I'm looking for because that I can get in file
sharing server environment. I'm puzzled here.
