Quick question:
How do I create a template that can be shared between many users, while
still protecting it from direct opening in Excel 2007? The user's template
directory is hidden by default, so they cannot normally copy a template file
into it, unless they enable the hidden directory attribute. I can put the
template on a shared network folder, but anybody can then open it directly.
Sure, I can password-protected it, but I'd rather not have to deal with that
kind of kludge.
So how are you implementing shared templates in Excel (or even Word)?
