Hi there,
I have two computers, one has Outlook 2003 on WinXP Pro, the other has
Outlook 2000 on WinXP Home. Each has their own set of Personal Folders. I
want to be able to Share the folders on a LAN on a third (iMac Intel Duo)
system which will act as a server. The Sharing option is greyed out on both
Outlook versions. Is it possible to share the folders into one common area
(either on the iMac or on one of the XP systems) so that I can clean up the
e-mails and then store them in one place accessible to both Outlooks? I
have put all the Outlook 2003 e-mails into a new Outlook97-02 Folder which
is stored on the iMac and which shows up on Outlook 2003; however, I can't
access this 97-02 folder from the Outlook 2000 version.
Is it possible to accomplish this? If so, what is the best way to go about
doing this. I only need one set of folders, but I need to a major deletion
of (duplicate) e-mails to fine-tune the set.
Any help and guidance is much appreciated. Thanks so much!
