Sharing OneNote Pages

Our group shares a daily journal on OneNote. The file is on the network and
each of us has a shortcut to that file. This has worked fine since we started
a month ago or so, until today. Normally it stalls/locks out everyone except
the person who is writing, but is active again as soon as that person
finishes. However, today, even though no one is writing to that file, it will
not accept anything from any of us. If we close out and reopen OneNote it
sometimes will work. The non-shared pages in our Notebooks work just fine.

It may not be this, but try having your users check Tools | Options.
Then go to Open & Save. Check the Automatically release file locks
setting.
