sharing outlook 2002 calendar

Is it possible to share an outlook calendar in 2002?
This was possible with Outlook 2000 using net folders.
All the information I've found assumes connection to an
Exchange server.....

Can this be done in a networked enviroment that is not
using an Exchange server?
