Sharing Outlook calendar outside local network

Is it possible to share my Outlook calendar to people outside our local
network?
We have our own Exchange 2003 server at the moment but will probably be
upgrading to Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007 soon.

what do you mean with "outsite your local network"?

Do you work also in another domain with an Exchange Server?

Do you work also in another Peer-to-peer network where you want to share
your calendar?

Do you have some more details about this network and what you want to do?

What I would like to do is maybe not really share, but rather publish my
Outlook calendar on a website that is accessible for anyone.
Preferably some solution that does not require too much manual update.
Is this possible with sharepoint?
