Sharing Outlook calendar

Hi,

I'm still very confused on the most appropriate way to share my
calendar. I use Outlook working off Exchange Server. I need clients
(who either use Outlook or Lotus Notes) to be able to see when I am
free so that they can schedule meetings with me. I don't want them to
see what my meetings are, just when I am free and when I am busy.

Can anybody help?

Oh yes, I'm using Outlook 2003. Not sure which version of Outlook
clients are using (if they aren't using Notes).

I have no idea if Notes can view Outlook free/busy.

In Outlook, click Tools>Options>Calendar Options>Free/Busy Options. Make
sure you're publishing your free/busy information.

Note that whether the Notes users can see your free/busy information is out of your control. It's up to the network administrators to arrange that kind of connection between Exchange and Notes.

I tried that but I can't seem to get it to work. Just as a test, I
tried to get it to publish to my PC, but even that doesn't seem to
work. I checked Publish at my location and entered
file://[mycomputername]/saul.vfb. Am I doing something wrong?

I thought you said you were connected to an Exchange server. You should not
need any value in the "Publish at my location" field.

Thanks Sue. Do you know whether it's possible to configure Notes to
see my Outlook diary?

No, AFAIK, a Notes user cannot see the contents of any folders. All they might be able to see is free/busy information.
