Sharing Resources and Resource Pools

Ok, I've created a resource pool. I have asked several projects to share
resources with this pool. This works fine and is an excellent tool for
workload forecasting. However, When you open the resource pool MSP 2000
creates a Master Project. I have saved this Master Project but on opening the
resouce pool again another Master Project is created.
I want to be able to keep this Master Project and have it, Sub Projects and
Resource Pool that all open together. The reason for wanting to keep the
Master Project is that we have created a Template with numerous fields that
we use to export for Earned Value, ETC and Financial reporting.

Hi Andy,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

The answer it to not open the pool at all, but open the mater project that
you have saved.
