sharing Word dictionary

I want Word 2000 to access the main dictionary in Word
97. Is this possible? I tried renaming the file but then
the spellchecker would not work in Word 2000. I also want
to use my Word 97 AutoCorrect and AutoText files in Word
2000. How do I do this? I have both Word programs running
in Windows 98 environment.

I think it's not the main dictionary you want but the Custom.dic. You can
point Word 2000 to the Custom.dic file in Word 97 through Tools | Options |
Spelling & Grammar, but it would make more sense just to copy it to the new
location. As for migrating AutoText and AutoCorrect, see
