Sharing workbook - Changed source location of links

A

Alfred Douglas

Hi all, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sharing a workbook over a network. It is permanently stored on a
primary harddrive, and is accessed, through the network, by another
secondary computer.

Linked to this primary workbook are several small workbooks (which are
like individual invoices). All of these smaller workbooks are stored
on the same harddrive as the primary workbook.

I do not copy of move any of the workbook files -- they are all on the
same harddrive.

Recently, after accessing the primary workbook and linking further
small ones to it over the network, Excel changed the path for all of
the links so that it looks for the files on the secondary computer
(where they don't exist) rather than on the primary one (where they
are stored).

Does anyone know how to change all the links at once so that Excel
will look for the files on the original computer?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Look at the edit links menu option. You may indeed have to change each link
to the correct path.
