Fairly large Excel Workbook has 60 Sheets, 10Meg size,
1500 Rangenames. Macro (VBA) adds a sheet backgound when
entering a sheet, if sheetname.gif exists in given folder.
When leaving sheet, background is removed.
After an (undetermined) amount of usage (calls to VBA
calculation routines) plus other sheet changes, certain
sheet backgrounds fail to appear. Others will continue
appear. This seems to correspond to the quantity of other
(non background) graphics on sheets, and size of
background. Although I can't measure or pin this down with
any consistency.
Also, if a VBA routine encounters an error, then
subsequently, sheet backgrounds do not show.
The time to failure and any recovery of sheet backgrounds
differs depending on the machine used, again, this is
intermittent and inconsistent.
Closing Excel and reopening the Workbook always regains
backgrounds, until....
Does anyone have experience with this type of situation?
Causes, workarounds, suggestions, fixes?
WHEN E-MAILING ME, PLEASE INCLUDE THE

(This is in order to get into my SPAM whitelist, otherwise
I won't see the e-mail.) THANK YOU.
