Sheet Tab Font Color

We've just upgraded to OSX, and now the font on Excel's
sheet tabs (you know, "Sheet 1," "Sheet 2," etc.) shows
as a bright (and almost illegible) yellow. Does anyone
have any ideas?

Hi,

If you have not installed the Office updates, now would be a good time
to do it. Visit http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx to download
the correct updates for your version of Excel.

I've had this problem for some time - I've tried re-making the sheet by
copying worksheets and by copying data but nothing seems to work
(running 10.1.5 on OS X 10.3.3).

The file displays correctly every time on my PowerBook however I load the
file and on my PowerMac as long as I load Excel first then open the file.
Double clicking the file on my PowerMac to load Excel and open the file in
one go produces "blank" tabs every time.

The only way I was able to fix this was to save the file as SYLK. I could then
open it and reformat any lost formats,save it as a normal Excel file and it
would be ok after that.

Thanks for the suggestion - I thought you'd solved it for me but it's a 15
sheet workbook which SYLK will not handle. Before I save each sheet
separately as SYLK and then stitch them all back together, are any other
formats likely to work?

Haven't tried any others but it's worth a try.

(Just noticed I can fill in my name above!)

Version - I've just done the upgrades via 10.1.2 and 10.1.4 to 10.1.5 but
the situation is the same now as before the upgrades.
