Sheet Tab font is white? How do I get Black back?

G

Greg T. Vincent

I opened a new template from a Windows XP user and the Tab Sheets font is
now white text on the grey background. I can¹t read it unless I double click
it and it then turns black.
There must be a simple way to get my black text back.
Running Office X with update 10.1.5 and OSX 10.2.8
Please help
Thanks
Greg

It's a bug that has already mentioned here. It should have been corrected
with one of the recent updates. But it is possible that it got somewhat
"trapped" in your workbook. If I remember well, the solution in such case
is to create a new workbook and copy everything to it.

In some cases, it had been reported to be related to the existence of a
"PDFMaker.xla" file in the "Office/Startup/Excel" folder. Trashing that
file could be a solution (I couldn't say, I haven't encountered it).

I'm having the same problem. Each workbook that I open has white font for
the sheet tabs! This just happened this week. Any help would be
appreciated.
