Shelling Picture Manager or Command Line Switches

Does anyone know if it is possible to either;

1. Shell Picture manager with more than one file to open or;

2. Launch Picture Manager with command line switches

I want to be able to launch one instance of Picture Manager with one or more
bitmap images from either run command or via the shell command in vb.net.
Using the run command and one document works fine but with two it does not
seem to like it.
