I'm using Word 2003 on Windows XP. I find that when I shift between
Print Layout and Normal views, the window often warps to the start of
the document. This is especially true when Document Map is open, or
Footnotes are showing. When neither of those two are showing, I can
sometimes avoid being warped to the start of the document by double-
clicking to select a word, but shifting back and forth a few times
shows that even that fails to always stop it.
Anyway to reliably keep my place in my document when shifting between
views, hopefully robust against having Document Map or Footnotes
showing?
