Shift Calendar

K

Kay

I need to create a calendar for a night shift of 7:00 pm
to 7:00 am. We want to list the PM times first, but
Project won't allow this.

Work around? Thanks.

Hello Kay,

Take a look at the 3rd Shift calendar in Project to see
how that one is set up. Your working hours of 7:00 PM to
7:00 AM span midnight and must be broken up accordingly.
For example:
Assuming your night shift started on Sunday, and ended
Friday at 7:00 AM

Sunday 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Monday 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM AND 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Tuesday 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM AND 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Wednesday 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM AND 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Thursday 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM AND 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
Friday 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Hope this helps.
