Shift-Insert, Shift-Delete, etc. in Office 2007

Hi!

I really miss the copy/paste operations using shift-insert, ctrl-insert and
shift-delete. Is there any way to re-activate these keyboard shortcuts again,
in addition to ctrl-x/c/v? Some registry setting? Or any (free) 3rd-party
tool?

Hi Michael,

What Office 2007 are you in? Those should be working in Word 2007, for example, unless you have some 3rd party add-in/utility
interfering, or if the default keyboard shortcuts have been removed, or if you're using an alternate keyboard layout in Windows.

There are a couple of things you may want to check in Word.

1. If you start Word in Office safe mode (hold down ctrl key when
starting Word) and can use Ctrl/Del and Ctrl/Ins) do the keys work, if not it may be an add-in or outside interference.

2. If in Word you check the keyboard shortcuts
(Alt, T, O, C,) to get to customize then click on
"Keyboard shortcuts[Customize]

In the keyboard customization dialog choose the 'All Commands' category' and choose the EditCut and EditPaste commands see if
Shft+Del and Shift+Ins are listed.
If not, you can readd them.
