I need help! I have a corrupt database in Access 2002 that I'm trying to
repair, but it won't recognize using the Shift key to bypass the Autoexec
macro at startup. I've done this before without problem, so I don't believe
the AllowBypassKey has ever been changed to false. (No-one else in my
company would know how to set that up, and I didn't know of it until now.)

I have an older backup copy that I have been trying to look into to find out
if the AllowBypassKey was in fact set to false, but I can't figure out where
to even find it.

My ultimate problem is that I have a corrupt database that I can't open, but
this is where I feel I need to start so that I can compact and repair it.
Please help!! Thanks!

Have you tried creating a new database and extracting the database objects
from the old one using Get Extrenal Data?
