I have contemplated several different ways to solve my problem. Although I
have not extensively used outlook I develop in Access and have a good
knowledge of VB.
Problem: I need to manage a 24-hr facility that has 3 daily 8 hour shifts.
There are between two and four employees on at all times, in two categories.
They operate on a rotating shift schedules, so you work a pre-determined
schedule in each shift. I am planning on using the calender to set up the
shifts and then linking the contact for the appointments as the person who is
working that shift. There may be an easier way using the scheduling feature
but I am not familiar with that.
Needs: One I would like assistance on an easier way to complete this, and
second if the way I described is correct, I am going to need to create vba
macros to globally change a persons shift or create vacations. The schedules
are usually decided for the year and then I also want to import this as a
whole.
Thanks, Lengthy I know but assistance is appreciated.
