Shifting text in a form

using Office 2003, MS Word, created a form, protected the form, used all the
correct field forms .. why does the text input shift the next section of text
to the right margin or next line? I can't get many of the fields to remain
where I've set them up!!! Help!

Create the form as Table with fixed cell dimensions.
