I am redoing our E-Log book for the fire dept and am stuck.
The fire dept works a schedule that goes like this for
each shift......X-O-X-O-X-O-O-O-O, where the "X"s represent the on duty time
and
"O"s are off duty this repeats its self through out the year. The "on-duty"
time begins at 08:00 and ends at 07:59 the following day. The progression
goes like this B-C-B-A-B-A-C-A-C-B where "A" is one shift and "B" is the
next and so on.
Ok now what I want to do is to be able to have a selection box (either list
or combo) that when the appropriate shift is selected I can use a
formula/routine based on the above criteria to select on duty people as the
basis for reports ect.. I have posed this to many of my colleages and have
not arrived at a solution.
