We operate an moderate size web site at www.folkart.com. For years we've
operated without a shopping cart and currently we're NOT database driven.
Our domain is hosted on a Unix server; we just began using FrontPage
Extension.
All of our web pages are created with FrontPage; we're eager to have access
to FrontPage2003. Recently we began creating some basic forms to process
customer orders, but we're rapidly encountering limitations in our basic
forms.
Are there shopping carts that can be used without using a database? If yes,
please provide URL for further information.
Any suggestions regarding the migration path from a totally manual system to
a database driven web site? We can't afford to hire outside vendors so the
tasks would need to rely of GUI oriented tools requiring only minor
programming. We love FrontPage because it allows us non-technical types to
do some great things.
Thanks, Cecil
