Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop In the columns setting for either received or sent dates I am getting a simultaneous short and long date displaying. I have been to preferences and changed my date formats, rebooted apps and the computer with no success in getting only one date format to display.

Can you post an example of what you mean by "simultaneous short and long
date displaying"? I can't picture this.

Something like this?

1/17/10 1:36 PMJanuary 17,2010 1:36 PM

Thanks for your response Bill. You have it almost correct except the "1:36PM" between the short and long date was not there. I spent some time in the date format menu in system preferences changing it, eventually it has 'corrected itself' and I am not certain what I did that contributed to the correction. Problem resolved for now.

Most format issues are easily correct by resetting your region, which
brings things back to defaults.

Glad it's working for you.
