Hi. I am using Outlook 2010.
In the very left pane in Outlook, where you also have Email,
Contacts,
Calendar, Notes... and so on and at last ShortCuts.
I can drag a new shortcut to this pane by draging a short cut or icon
from Internet Explorer or from the address field in IE and drag it
over to
ShortCuts in Outlook and I get my selves a new link or Short Cut.
However, if I try to do the same with a html file that is stored on
my
computer or a common folder in our network, this does not work. I
simply are not able to add this shurt cut? Or I get a warning and the
short cut opens in IE and not in the Outlook main window.
It works for any short cut to a web server address but not a localy
saved file. Do I have to refer to the file in another way?
What do I have to do to be able to save a short cut to a html file
saved locally on my machin or a common folder so it will open
(without any warnings) in the main Outlook window?
Any help is very much apprieciated.
Regards Jan T.
