Shortcut bar is missing in Office 2003

Dear all,

I just finished the upgrade of Office from version XP to 2003 but found that
the Office Shortcut Bar is missing. Though I've checked the installation
options carefully, I still can't find it on the checklist. Does anybody
have any idea on this issue?

Thanks for your attention and kindly help!

Regards,
James Wong

Hi, James Wong. Office 2003 does not include an Office Shortcut Bar. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822573 "Office Shortcut Bar Is Not Included in Office 2003" for suggested workarounds. Additionally, if you have your CD from Office 97, 2000, or XP, then it is possible to install the OSB from the previous version and, if necessary, modify the shortcuts to point to the corresponding files in Office 2003.

Hi, garfield-n-odie,

Thanks for you reply! But do you know the reason why they remove it from
Office 2003?
