Shortcut clearing content

Jan Putcuyps

Hi,

I have an IBook G4, and usually use an external keyboard which has a
'delete' key.

Is there any shortcut in Excel that clears the content of multiple selected
cells, without having to use the delete key? As the keyset on the IBook does
not have this.

Excel v11.3.3
Mac OSX 10.4.8

Thanks

Jan

What I did, I have assigned a keyboard shortcut. Navigate to
Tools>Customeze>keyboard> locate command such as or similar
Edit:clearContent and assign any keyboardshortcut which is convenient for
you

Alternatively, I *think* the other person wants Fn-Delete.

Thanks Phil,

Fn-delete is the one i was looking for. Strange I couldn't find it in the
help file before.

Most of the Help files pertaining to keyboard shortcuts address standard
keyboard layout. I gues most software developers assume that those using
other layouts are supposed to interpolate accordingly. I guess they can't be
expected to list every conceivable combination since there are so many
different variations out there:)
