shortcut for copying a formula with relative references

Does anyone know a shortcut for copying a formula with
relative references as a formula with absolute references
without having to put in all those little $'s?
Spreadsheet programs much less powerful than Excel have
this capability....
Thanks! :)Shawn

If you want another cell to contain exactly the same formula:

1. Copy the formula in the formula bar, and press Enter
2. Select the destination cell
3. Click in the formula bar, and paste

You can copy formulas exactly (not changing cell references), by selecting
the formula in the formula bar, right click and choose "Copy", then just
right click in new cell, and choose "Paste".
