shortcut on network to Access 97 database

I am using Access 97 and have placed a shortcut to a database on a PC
(runningWindows 95) on company network. Shortcut opens database but
date-related queries and associated forms which work on original database do
not show any records on network PC. Any ideas?

(guessing): If I remember correctly, both Windows95 and Access97
(especially W95) need some patches for the Y2K bug.

Do you know whether W95 and A97 on this machine have been patched for the
Y2K bug.
