Hi, I've been taking a shortcut that works, but it may be bad practice.
Please advise.
What I do is drag an individual file from my hard drive backup site to the
live Internet site (both open in FrontPage), then recalculate hyperlinks on
the changed site. I do this only with an individual file that already exists,
substituting the updated version for the older one. So far it has worked
fine.
We have our own server, and it has FP extensions.
The reason I'm concerned is that I would like to recommend this method to my
subsite editors, because some of them get really confused when publishing
their whole subsites from their hard drives. However, I want to make sure
that dragging-dropping is OK. Is it?
Please advise.
