Is it possible in any way to send shortcuts, rather than needing to create
hperlinks within a mail?
If I need to distribute many large files to my dept, then I prefer not to
send the docs, but to use hyperlinks. I find this too cumbersome, and time
consuming if there are too many files. Creating shortcuts and dragging to the
mail message is relatively quick, but the links need to be saved to disk
before opening, and the feedback from the dept is that this too is cumbersome
with many links. (They may as well just go straight to the network folder -
if they knew where it was - and open the files "directly"...and this defeats
the need for the link in the first place!)
Is there a way of sending shortcuts that I have not found?
