shortcut won't work

I created a shortcut to a form on my desktop by right
clicking on the form object and choosing create shortcut,
and it saved a .maf file on my desktop. But when I try to
launch it, Access gives me an endless hourglass and after
mintue or so a windows error appears that says the file
couldn't be found. Access continues to hourglass and has
to be forced to quit. I am not on a network.

Any idea what my problem might be?

Have you tried recreating the shortcut from the original location or at
least see if its working from the
installed location.
