Shortcuts

Hi,

I assigned a shortcut for 'Paste special' which worked fine for a while,
then all of a sudden it stopped working. I am coping data between two
formatted sheets so need to be able to 'paste values'. If I can't use a
shortcut to get to the 'paste special' function this is a real long process.

Any Ideas why the keyboard short cut would just stop working?? I have tried
to reassign it to another key but it just won't work??

I have noticed that the shortcuts are inactive if you clik into formula bar,
so that you have to select the proper cell only instead of editing it. Could
that apply on you?

First, does the shortcut still show up in the Tools/Customize/Customize
Keyboard... dialog?

Have you assigned a keyboard shortcut that overrides it in System
Preferences/Keyboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts?

Occasionally, I've seen keyboard shortcuts fail system-wide. When I
close all my apps, log out of my account and log back in, they're active
again - dies this work for your shortcuts?
