The underlines letters are the letters used in conjuction
with the Alt button. Press the Alt button and certain
letters on the Menu bar become underlined. If you press
that key along with the Alt button, that drop down menu
opens. Then while pressing the Alt key, choose the next
command by using it's underlined letter. It's just much
easier using a mouse.

I don't understand how to use Shortcuts as indicated in drop-down menus.
